Playgroups are great fun! Your young child will get to sing, dance, try new art and craft activities, share experiences, and mix with other young children. While your child is busy painting a masterpiece, your child will also be picking up valuable new skills and experiences. These include:
- learning to play with other children
- experiencing new play and art opportunities
- finding out more about the world and other people
- experiencing books and music
- improving problem-solving abilities.
Playgroups are a good opportunity for parents to:

Why ALIMKids.
A thematic approach.
The themes that we use are practical and familiar to the children. We use the themes to relate them to basic knowledge like alphabets, numbers and science.
English medium is used in our playgroup.
Children's brains are like sponges. It is capable of absorbing a lot of things in the least amount of time. A language can be easily absorbed by the child if they are exposed to it. Of course using it at home occasionally could enhance their usage in the language too. In the sessions, children are encouraged to respond in English.
Khalifah method
The children will be introduced to islamic phrases,akhlaq, doas, prayers, and the five pillars of islam. The children will be refered to little khalifahs and learn how to be good khalifahs.
Arts and Crafts.
In each class, we will have an arts and crafts session. This gives the children a chance to explore their creative sides and at the same time improve the motor skills and
Body movement activities
Activities such as singing and dancing not only is fun but is a great learning tool for the children. Children not only gain knowledge from the songs but also learn to follow rhythm and instructions.
